Hood Family OBX Tripl

Gammy and Pawpaw treated us to another week long trip to the Outer Banks.  We stayed in Salvo this time.  It was so sad driving into the OBX.  There is still mass destruction everywhere with the worst being around Rodanthe and Waves.  The area we stayed in was not hit as hard.

We had such a wonderful time just hanging out, playing on the beach, fishing, eating, doing arts and crafts, making cookies and watching movies.  The girls and John John were so good.  The played so well together and really enjoyed each others company.  We also spent a lot of time with Memaw and Papaw Hood.  There are spending 1-2 months down there in their Motorhome.  How cool is it that Caden, Berkely and John John get to  go to the beach with their great grandparents!! :)  The kids loved watching Memaw fish and looked forward to their nightly story on Papaw's lap.  What great memories we made!

We are so blessed to have this wonderful time together each year.  Thanks again Gammy and PawPaw.
