Well, Sunday morning was off and running by 730am...Caden and Berkley were being so good playing in the floor of Caden's room. They were playing with dolls, hair bows, head bands, hair clips...I was unpacking from our trip to the OBX. Berkely kept bringing me the small hair clips... I thought to myself, well that's good at least she's not putting them in her mouth. Next thing I know I turn to check on them and Berkley is pointing to her mouth/throat making that face you make when you have something in your mouth and can't get it out. I immediately think that she's swallowed one of those hair clips. So not knowing exactly what to do or think I take her to the kitchen and give her some milk. She did great with that so I put her in her booster seat and feed her some yogurt melts. The first few went down great, so I added some bites of english muffin to her plate. After a few bites she was making the face you make when you are trying to swallow but your throat hurts. So at this point I was getting a little more anxious so I decided to call the Pediatrician. I was told the DR would call me when she got in to the office. So the girls and I headed to church...I put Caden in Sunday School and kept Berkley in the sanctuary with me so I could watch her. She did great! :) The Dr called and said that we should just watch for the clip to pass within 2 days and keep a close eye on her. So far no clip...Berkley is acting fine with the few exceptions of her pointing to her throat when she is swallowing. I guess if I don't see it by tomorrow I will be calling the Dr to see what we need to do. Wish us luck and say a little extra prayer please.
