God is Good!

Thanks be to the Good Lord for watching over Berkley today as she had tubes placed in her ears.  Everything went very well.  Berkley woke up pretty much upset at the world but... after a long morning nap she woke with that beautiful smile of hers...

Caden's 1st Haircut

Caden had her first haircut EVER today!  She was such a good girl!  Tiara did a great job and was very patient with Caden.  At first Caden wasn't quite sure about getting in the chair but once she did she was 'driving' it like a champ! :)  I'm thinking she choose the yellow taxi because it's YELLOW - Her favorite color! 

Finished Product!  She was very proud of herself.

 Now Tiara is giving her a braid. :)

Berkley - 8 months old

Happy 8 month birthday Berkley! 

Here are a few of Berkley's newest things...

• sitting up from a lying position
• gets on all fours and rocks bach and forth
• eating three meals a day
• drinks 4 bottles a day (6-8oz)
• eating mum-mums
• starting to sleep better through the night
• wakes up between 5:45am and 7am
• bedtime around 7:30pm
• takes a paci only when sleepy
• morning nap and afternoon nap (sometimes - not a big napper)
• says "da-da-da-da-da"
• mimics simple noises she hears
• probably her favorite part of the day: BATHTIME! she LOVES it!  she splashes all around.
• she takes a big girl bath with Caden
• loves just watching her big sisters, Caden and Callie
• has had a constant ear infection since Dec 27 2010 :(
• Overall, Berkley is a very easy going, sweet baby.  She also loves to snuggle!

Berkley's 1st tooth

Berkley is happy to announce that she now has her 1st tooth!  It's on the bottom left...it finally broke through on Monday Feb. 21 while Mimi and Popa were visiting.  One day after she turned 8 months.  She has been drooling a lot lately but has still been her sweet, happy self!

Welcome to our Family Blog!

Hey Everyone!  I am starting to blog so all of you can keep up with are precious little girls.  Hopefully by looking at our pics/videos and such you will feel like you are watching them grow right in front of your own eyes.  Caden and Berkley are the light of my life and I thank God for placing them in our lives!  Chris and I are so proud of them and love them more than the air we breathe!  We are very blessed!


We miss all of you so much and wish we could see you more often.  Please know you are in our daily thoughts and prayers each and every night.

Family trip to the Park
