A day to remember! ;)

The day started out wonderful...crazy...busy...but still wonderful.  I took the girls to a farm in Monroe to have their pictures taken.  The special occasion was for Berkley's 1st birthday photo shot.  Berkley did so good!  I was so proud of her.  She was all smiles and was so happy to be just hanging out in a wet field of grass...tall grass.  Caden (the little diva we all know she is) wasn't as pleasant.  She did not like the wet grass touching her at all!  She wanted to be carried...along with the extra clothes, 2 baby dolls, a baby bottle, "B", the baby crib, and Berkley.  She was even trying to get the photographer to carry her along with all of her cameras and bags.  After rapping up the shot the sweet photographer took us to see her pony and 2 longhorns.  Caden got to feed the pony.  Berkley loved petting it on it's nose.

It was so nice to be back in the "country".  I sure do miss the wide open feeling of the back woods!!  It made me miss home so much!  Don't get me wrong I like the convenience of everything within 2 miles of my house but it is so refreshing to look out and not see anything but farm land, trees, gardens, barns, creeks, etc.....any way back to my story........

After the shot we head to bed bath and beyond...to pick up a wedding shower gift. Then to Dick's to find Caden some tennis shoes.  Then to McAlister's to have lunch.  Believe it or not lunch was the easiest part of my day.  The girls ate so good and were so cute and funny.  We all shared our food with each other.  :)  Then off to target we go...we had to pick up a few necessities.

And now I need a little disclaimer...the following story is a little gross and embarrassing but I have to tell it.

Both the girls wanted to be in the shopping cart so I put Berkley in the front and Caden in the big basket.  We were all doing good and shopping right along when I ran into a friend of mine.  We stopped and chatted a bit...the whole time I was wondering what Caden was doing in the cart...she was being really quite and hunching down.  After walking away from my friend Caden holds out her hand and asks me "mommy, what's this?"  I panic...is it really what I think it is?  YES!!  Caden had had an 'accident'.  Poor thing...her pull up was twisted and half covering her bottom.  She had poo all up and down her leg...all over her dress...all over her hands...all over the cart.  I just look at her and think...now what?!?  I start heading to the restroom and see a pack of anti-bacterial wipes.  I grab a bunch as we walk by.  In the bathroom I met 3 of the most sincere, sweet ladies I've ever met.  I truly think the were my guardian angels that day.  While trying to think of a game plan...one lady held Berkley, one lady went to the register to get me some target bags to put Caden's clothes in and one lady kept handing me wet/dry paper towels to get Caden cleaned up.  I do not know what I would have done without their assistance.  They were heaven sent.  After about 30 minutes Caden was all cleaned up.  I cleaned the cart to the best of my ability with the anti-bacterial wipes...so I then went and told the manager what had happened.  They were so understanding and kind.  They got me a new cart as I checked out and took the old one hopefully to burn ;)   Needles to say Caden walked out of Target wearing nothing but her white flower sandals and a pull-up...

All I can say after this experience is...ALWAYS use the sani-wipes provided at the front to clean your carts! ;)

One more thing...GOD BLESS the three ladies that came to my assistance!
