Look who's ONE!

Wow!!  Berkley is ONE year old!!  I absolutely cannot believe how fast this year has flown by.  It has been probably one of the best years of my life along with one of the hardest...Chris and I are so lucky to have Caden and Berkley in our lives.  They fulfill us to the fullest!! We have so much fun and LOVE spending time together as one big family.  It is also a complete joy to watch Berkley and Caden play together.  Within the last few weeks they have really started interacting and "playing" more together...They are working on the sharing thing ;) but overall play very well together.  Below you will find a few things Berkley is up to now...

• 19 lbs 7 oz (believe it or not...25th percentile ;))
• 29 1/2 inches ( 65th percentile)
• 6 teeth (4 up top, 2 on bottom)
• says: mamama, dadadada, kitty - still not a big talker. but loves to shrill and imitate screams with Caden
• wakes up @ 6:45a, bedtime @ 7:15p - not a huge fan of naps lately.  will sometimes take an am and afternoon nap
• standing on own, cruising the furniture, will take a few steps when holding onto fingertips, not really interested in walking at all!
• loves drinking water out of sippy cup.  drinking out of bottle only 1-2 times a day...otherwise uses sippy cup...
• we tried cow's milk today but she had NO interest in it at all.  she immediately spit it back out. 
• loves to eat Cheerios, cheese, blueberries, pineapple, apples, mandarin oranges, ham, turkey, bread, pasta, puffs, crackers, humus, black beans, roasted red peppers, ice cream on special occasions
• likes to throw things (balls, blocks, anything really she can get her hands on)
• likes playing with her baby dolls eyes...opening and closing them.
• likes to look at picture books
• LOVES animals, especially cats and dogs.
• not really into watching TV unless its the Animal Planet
• Continues to be very easy going...she is starting to develop a little temper though...she sometimes likes for things to go exactly as wants ;) but overall Berkley is a VERY sweet, calm and happy baby!! :)
